As our staff accountant, you will be responsible for and have broad exposure to many areas of the business, and therefore, you are vital to the success of the accounting and finance function. It’s important that you are detail-oriented, work well in a fast-paced team environment, are passionate about learning and continuous growth, and take pride in gathering and reporting accurate data. This role reports to the Accounting Manager. In this role, you will Export transactions from various system and code them for weekly inputs used for cash reporting and bi-weekly flash forecast for monthly financial results in Excel Input financial transactions in NetSuite and maintain comprehensive supporting documentation Own the accounts receivable collection process Assist senior accountant with invoice creation and revenue schedules Complete month end close supporting schedules for certain G/L accounts assigned to you Review and code virtual mailbox for financial notices daily, and escalate to the appropriate individuals Assist with documentation requests during annual external GAAP audits Assist the Controller and VP of Finance with other ad hoc projects and requests If you’re a great fit for this role, you Have a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance Have 2+ years of accounting experience Experience with NetSuite and Bill.com is a plus! Are proficient in Microsoft Excel Are an excellent communicator - both written and verbal Are highly organized and detail-oriented Have a working knowledge of GAAP and the ability to apply it to specific situations Must be able to flex at least 4 working hours to overlap with North American time zones; Requirement to work until 3pm EST (US)
