What You’ll Be Doing:
Payroll Processing
Manage and process monthly payroll for all employees in India in liaison with our payroll partner
Ensure accurate and timely submission of payroll information to the partner
Collate information regarding bonuses, variables and incentives if any from respective internal stakeholders
Process payroll deductions and withholdings
Handle payroll discrepancies and resolve any payroll-related issues
Benefits Administration
Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, mandatory statutory benefits (PF, ESI, Stat Bonus etc) and other voluntary benefits (VPF)
Coordinate benefits enrollment, changes, and terminations
Communicate benefits information to employees and answer any questions
Liaise with benefits providers and brokers
Compliance and Reporting
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll and benefits regulations
Verify payroll tax filings and reports, statutory contributions and corrections
Maintain accurate records of employee payroll and benefits information
Generate reports related to payroll, benefits, and other HR metrics
Employee Support
Provide support to employees regarding payroll and benefits inquiries
Assist with new hire orientation and onboarding related to payroll and benefits
Conduct periodic benefits audits and reconciliation
System Management
Maintain and update payroll and benefits systems
Ensure data integrity within payroll and benefits software
Collaborate with respective internal stakeholders to improve system functionalities
What You’ll Bring:
Bachelor's degree or Masters in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
5 to 8 years of experience in payroll and benefits administration
Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., GreytHR/DarwinBox/Workday/Bamboo etc) and benefits administration platforms
Strong knowledge of payroll laws and regulations
Excellent organizational and time management skills, attention to detail and accuracy
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, comfortable in a fast-paced and often-changing environment: Must have the ability to multitask and prioritize quickly
Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality, work independently, multi-task, and follow up on projects and issues
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Google sheets (must have)
Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or similar certification is a plus not mandatory
